I sure hope they are hot!

Remember, these shots were taken with two dogs dangling on a leash on my right arm ;) - no dogs were harmed

This morning I took a walk around the Block instead of going to the beach and get annoyed with the youths driving their SUVs over the beach and riding on top of the roof and the hood and getting on my nerves.

Nah, I walked past and crossed back and around my neighbourhood.
Not a long walk, since it’s pretty humid, not that hot though (only around 36C at 5.30am - you can see how hazy it is in the photos).
King kept panting for an hour at home, he was not impressed by my idea ;)

Under some trees we met a young Asian lady with her dog. She asked me where we live and I showed her ‘over there’ (about 2min) from where we were standing. ‘That’s far’ was her reply. Uh, right. Very! :>>

This afternoon the humidity got even worse (the forecast says 18%).
I went out with the dogs and it started pouring.
At least it wasn’t very hot (43C).

;)

Mangaf beach, Kuwait, July 28th, slightly dusty, very humid
Picnic trash at Mangaf beach, Kuwait, Jul 28th
The Pack at Mangaf beach, Kuwait, July 29th, dusty
Mangaf beach, Kuwait, July 29th, dusty

Excuse me!
Sorry, but my nose is tickling, no matter if I’m outside or inside, since the dust
is pretty much everywhere.
We still didn’t have a ‘bad’ duststorm, but it’s there, in the air, in the AC.
That’s just the way the next months will be, one gets used to it ;)

The photos above:

#1 Yesterday morning, only slightly dusty, but hazy and humid (another feature for
the next 4 weeks!)

#2 Wanna join for a picnic? Nah, I didn’t think so. Leftovers from someone
else’s picnic. The beach gets trashier every day :**:

#3 The dogs have fun, I have fun, so we are all happy, no matter the weather :DD

#4 What it looked like this morning. Yes, I know how to fix the yellow hue in the
shot, but this is exactly what it looked like. Not as humid as yesterday, yet.

Hubby is working LONG hours, which leaves me at home alone.
I should be bored, but honestly, I am not.
Hours and days go by so fast. It’s unbelievable. Today’s the 29th of July already.

I will start to go out and explore bits and pieces of Kuwait I have missed before,
soon, promise ;)
Need to show you guys a bit more than just birds and dusty Mangaf.

The birds are back in their own Blog again. For some reason I think, I would
bore most of you with them.
If you would like to see them, feel free and adopt the feed in your
reader or email - thanks :)

Peaceful

Trash at beach in Mangaf, Kuwait

Yesterday & today the beach experience was peaceful and joyful.

A few people around (3 of them young Kuwaiti men in Dishdasha, sitting at the beach and enjoying their time off).

Everyone left me alone and the dogs and I left them in peace.

Over the next few weeks the trash will get worse at the beach, thanks to the holidays and Ramadan (supposedly starting at 11th of August). Many people will come to the beach and just leave their picnic Leftovers and empty bottles and plastics behind. King ate so many Leftovers this morning that he was too full for his food. I am tired of yelling at him, or taking him at the leash. Big ol’ pig,….

After Ramadan, when it gets cooler, I will start again and clean the beach once a week. It’s good exercise and makes me feel good. But it needs to be cooler and I only will do it when nobody’s around. I don’t want any more stupid conversations why I am doing this or that. People that ask that question, wouldn’t understand my answer anyway.
