On the property of the Radisson SAS Hotel, right beside the big Al Hashemi II is the Kuwait Marine Museum.
I admit, I expected a little bit more, but it’s nice to visit nonetheless.
It has two small halls, filled with various boats in small versions and plates in front of them that describe what they are and what they were used for.
Most pictures turned out too dark & blurry though ![]()
I give you a little tour without many words:

They also have boats from other cultures ![]()

Again, sorry for the quality, but better pictures from the big Al Hashemi II will follow in the next few days, promise ![]()
If you would like to have more information about traditional boats in the Gulf, check out this webpage !

OK, I know I promised more pictures of this Beauty.
But I also wanted to provide some Information of what this ship is about.
I know I had some somewhere, but I can’t find it.
I found a whole lot of new links for my Kuwait collection though.
Seems like Kuwait is finally getting the idea of better marketing their place to get Tourists.
Still way to go, but someone is doing something ![]()
I’ll keep looking and post the whole Set - with information - as soon as I have found it ![]()
Promise.

Sorry folks, times are a bit bubbly here again.
Once again the Stormfront hit and we might be moving out of here (yes, I said that before, I know…).
More about this when I know more.
(Edit: Looks like the plan right now is that we stay until July or so - we shall see.)
Besides I need to get the last cool days to do some of the outside Photo shoots on my list. It is already getting close to too hot for that.
So, today I’ve been out and about in Salwa at the Marine Museum and walking around in that area for a while, shooting some stuff of interest for me.
Once again people thought I must have left my brain in Europe. Noone here walks and noone shoots weird stuff.
*Shrug*
My legs ache and I got a slight sunburn but I’m happy to have one thing on files that I wanted to shoot since I got here.
Not as great as I wish it, but it was amazing to see ![]()
Oh, what I’m talking about?
This here:

More Info about it tomorrow, argh, rephrase that, maybe more likely Thursday, Friday or Saturday, sigh.
Tomorrow I will be shooting some art for Miss A. Hopefully the weather plays along.
And Thursday I might go to one more destination on my list if the weather stays this gorgeous.
Sorry folks for being a bad blogging buddy….I will catch up, promise
!!
