Back on air
Scary.
When you can’t access you blog anymore.
Everything looks alright in your Database on your server, but when trying to access your blog you get the message that it’s a downloadable file.
It’s the second time this has happened to me since hosting my own blog and using b2evolution.
Now, does anyone else have that issue?
Seems not.

I once again can say that I am happy I chose Hostmonster as a Host, in less than 10 hours I got my response and the problem was fixed.
Dear Customer,
It looks as though a different apache handler was added in your .htaccess file. I have since changed it so that your site functions as it was meant to.
Thing is, I didn’t access and / or add anything in my files today
I swear.
So, did I get hacked, is anyone now trying to manipulate my files or what?

I guess, someone played a wee joke on me.
I have just now sent another request to my host, because everything is buggy.
When I try to access the blog via dashboard I get asked if I want to download the admin.php.
Sigh.....
Hosting didn't change or do anything up to the moment I asked them to.
I think.
I still have issues with the dashboard button, but I can go now from my Dashboard back to my blog via the bitton on my Dahsboard.
All very funny......
Edit2:
OK, it's def. the Admin button that's screwed up and hey, by editing my comment I have a whole new array of things that look like a blog entry.
I never had smilys before and I never had the options to add videos, pictures and adsense.....
ARGH.......???!!!
Edit3:
That one is another Bug (the smily thing and codes).
It doesn't show up in my comment
Whatever caused your problem - it was them - not you. If you were hacked (and there's no way to say, from here, one way or the other)- that's their problem - because the system they've allowed you to place your site on isn't secure. The greater likelyhood lies in them doing something like an upgrade or a patch and it changed something your software system sepends on.
The answer I got at b2evolution forum is that b2evolution would NEVET change the htaccess file, which my host did to get me back my access to my blog to begin with.
ARGH.
Without them changing a damned thing I would not be able to be here right now.
Now the only knack is that I have to go through a backdoor to get to my Dashboard. Fine. Can live with that if I have to.
But I start thinking, if I made the right choice

And I have to keep reminding myself why I made this choice.
Grmbl......
*Off to change the password* Thanks for the reminder, Solomon
