First off, I mastered the grape vines. Yeah !

Hubby managed to cut the grass, thanks to lots of sunshine

I brushed King outside the yard, so the dog hairs don’t fly back into the house and get stuck all over my plants.
And I remembered that the birdies used to come in the yard and pick up the dog hairs.
Well, I thought to myself, you can have that easier.

I just let the hairballs fly away, went inside, grabbed my camera and got some cute birdies

Almost Blog green worthy, no?

Mrs Scriber asked me a short while back, if we have a recycling system in Hungary.

I said no, not really. Especially not where we are.

Wrong.

We have recycling containers. I remembered. And they are not even far away.
Sometimes I’m a real moron.

Oh well, at least the paper & the plastic bottles will go there from now on.

My first step to do something for Blog Green

I also set up a little place on the web as a clean spot for Information about what we have done so far.
If someone has more ideas, let me know.

I’m not a web developer, so bare with my attempts in html patchwork.

Mrs Scriber from Scriber’s Web had the idea to do a project about trash.
To go and take pictures of trash.

I go one step further and call you to go out into nature with me in January or into your neighborhood, take big trash bags and gloves with you.
Take pictures, lots of them. Before, during and after collecting the mess of our fellow countrymen.

Let’s post the pictures on our blogs, at least.
Let’s send them to CNN ireport or any other news agency.
Let’s make some noise.

I am totally baffled.

I just got a comment on my old wordpress blog on a post about the trash situation in Kuwait.
The blog post is from a bit more than one year ago.

The comment is from a reporter of the Kuwait Times. A new one.
It contains even an apology for the newspaper not responding to an email by me.

Maybe there’s yet hope for Kuwait?
