I’m not going to repeat myself in stating that time flies, but…
Sigh.

Today is the last day of NaBloPoMo and I feel I haven’t even started yet.
But like the year before I found some wonderful people due to this challenge.

I opened up our Photography learning center to learn Photography from Scratch - “Scratch It“. We have some challenges and assignments up and running, but I’m working on more Info and more Tutorials.
Anyone feel free to join & give us some Input. Thanks to the ones already there & being active!

I have reached my goal for November on my Sales and I’m making a happy dance about that
No, I’m not rich yet, but I can invite hubby for Dinner (well, at least here where we live )

I ended up on Expats.Alltop and I really don’t know how I got there

There’s also Expat Blog where you can find some great people and Information.

And at the beginning of the month google seems to have bashed me for something. No page rank on this blog, a tiny bit left on my others and a higher one than usual on my main page.
Pft, who needs that anyway?
I only notice it thanks to that tiny little green bar in my browser.

As long as I have you, my dear readers and as long as I can go and read & comment on your blogs, I’m a happy camper.

I am totally baffled.

I just got a comment on my old wordpress blog on a post about the trash situation in Kuwait.
The blog post is from a bit more than one year ago.

The comment is from a reporter of the Kuwait Times. A new one.
It contains even an apology for the newspaper not responding to an email by me.

Maybe there’s yet hope for Kuwait?

It’s a never ending story it seems.
Freedom of speech is already a sharp two sided sword in Western countries.
But in Asia and the Middle East you don’t have it.
Simple as that.

When you are a blogger and one with a critical mind at that, you can easily get into trouble.

This time it’s a young man from Burma, who reported during the uprising in 2007 via his blog.

A Burmese blogger has been sentenced to 20 years in jail for posting a cartoon of the military leader Than Shwe.

Nay Phone Latt was arrested in January; the sentence delivered on Monday included 15 years for offences under the Electronics Act, two years for “creating public alarm” and three and a half years for offences under the Video Act, his mother said.

I was actually going to post about yesterday & the Goulash cookout (don’t worry, I’ll post it eventually).
But a recent blog comment made me change my mind.
I don’t think I have laughed that hard today, so it’s maybe worth sharing.

On my blog post a female in Kuwait Mr Single Love wrote:
