On the property of the Radisson SAS Hotel, right beside the big Al Hashemi II is the Kuwait Marine Museum.
I admit, I expected a little bit more, but it’s nice to visit nonetheless.
It has two small halls, filled with various boats in small versions and plates in front of them that describe what they are and what they were used for.
Most pictures turned out too dark & blurry though ![]()
I give you a little tour without many words:

They also have boats from other cultures ![]()

Again, sorry for the quality, but better pictures from the big Al Hashemi II will follow in the next few days, promise ![]()
If you would like to have more information about traditional boats in the Gulf, check out this webpage !

They are building this house since April. Others in the neighbourhood are already finished. Is this a good or a bad sign?
Taking down one of the older houses. Older? Build it right in the first place!
Old (?) rusting ships at Fahaheel Yacht Club. I think, one is the Ferry to Failaka that was running up to some time ago from Fahaheel. Too bad it’s not running no more
. I could take the dogs there and have fun
