I forgot how spooky it can be to be alone in a house.

Hubby is in Germany for two days, signing papers and such for the new job. He’ll come back tomorrow & Friday I will take him and his tools to Germany & he’ll be there for 3 months.
I’ll come back with the rented van, pick up the poochies from a dog home where they’ll be for those 5 days and stay in Hungary.
Germany just costs an arm and a leg. If the contract would be longer than 3 months…different story.
Well, I got enough work to do, but still, it’s eerily quiet. Just the dogs snoring

This is me on the trip to the airport.

I am already getting tired of driving & there’s still the trip to the airport tomorrow and the trip to Germany back and forth - I’m getting old .
Thank goodness there’s a small airport at Balaton now. A weird one, with old Russian type of buildings and bunkers.
The dog care home is right there too, which is pretty cool. British people, a guy with a quite strong accent. I can’t believe I had trouble understanding him

Went to Keszthely after dropping hubby off and got me some warm clothes. I guess my blood DID thin out in that one year in Kuwait. I’m freezing my a** off. It IS cold though. Right now it’s about 13 Celsius out there. That was a drop like Bikini weather one day and Sweater the next. Blaeh!

It would have been nice to stay these two days in this region, but it was just way too cold
