A quick question to you geeks out there.

On my homepage www.nicoleb.org happen to pop up question marks.

I got rid of them when I changed the page the last time.

Yesterday I changed some links, saved, the page looked fine and this morning, there they are again.

Any ideas?

I’m growing a bit frustrated.

I built the page with their normal html editor, no fancy stuff (yeah, because I don’t know how to use it )

What do you geeks build your pages with?

Even if I would live in the US I would not buy from them.
I send them an inquiry email yesterday, before I got all the helpful answers from you.

My phrasing was maybe not the greatest, but their response lacks of close to everything….

Now, electronics shipped to APO addresses sometimes don’t get delivered.
What happens when you send it but I don’t receive it?

My next question would have been, if you send to an address in Kuwait directly.
But I don’t think that even if I was living in the US I would consider buying from you at all after this reply.

Most of you know that by now.

I am planning to get the Nikon D300.
Nice idea.

Checked th prices online. Checked for dealers in Kuwait.
One dealer.
Better than nothing.
Expected it to be more expensive than online.

After a little hubub I found the right numbers, talked to a competent person in the Showroom, got my prices in KD.
Went to the currency converter and almost dropped dead.

They want $ 1496,- more than Best price on amazon.

But I get a 80GB ext. HD, a 3GB MC, a Kodak (?) Camera Bag and a 1 GB MP4 Player I don’t need.

I called the guy again and asked if there’s nothing he can do about that price.
I mean, come on….. even he had to admit that THAT is a lot.

Well, nothing he can do, not even for cash payment. There’s already a reduction of 10% on the lens and the camera is on promotional offer.
No manager to talk to either.

Sorry guys, but 1500 bucks is almost the price difference to the Nikon D3 (which I much rather want to have ).

I am not willing to pay that. I rather sit put and wait even longer.
I waited two years until I came up with what I really want.
So, a few more months really are not gong to make much of a difference.

Sigh…..

Maybe I call Bahrain, but it’s th same Company

When I by camera and lens separate on amazon I save another 400 Dollars..

That’s sort of how it feels the last three days.
It’s hazy and gloomy with a mix of dust.

I am cranky and try to hide it.
Nothing’s really right.

I had so many plans for this week and have done close to none of them.
I’m standing in my own way.
