Early Sunday morning
Well, not really that early.
It was already after 6 when we went for a short walk this morning.
We took our “old” path along the Thermal pool area and as usual we saw a bunch of wildlife.
(Bear with me with the quality of pics and the odd framing.
Click for big)
Starting with two does quite a bit away in the fields

A bunch of birds and a flock of female pheasants which almost got caught by King.
The male decided to stay hidden and wait until I pass him to scare the living daylights out of me.
Hasn’t happened to me in a while.

A red fox in the fields. Saw me and ran.

Saw some pretty thistles (Thanks to Amoeba, I now know, these are not thistles. Correct answer is: teasel (Dipsacus sp.))

JoJo ran like crazy and tried different paths, up and down over and under bushes. She had a real blast.

Some fruits which are ripe and taste good. But I have no clue what they are ![]()

A sad sight as usual.
A few hundred kilometers away forests are burning, all is dry over here and these morons burn trash (mainly grass and tress and whatever comes out of the gardens, but also often some normal trash).

King tried to catch a dove, after he was unsuccessful with the pheasants, but that didn’t work either ![]()

And my feet halfway through the 2.5km small walk ![]()

Over at my “Mother Nature” blog you can find now a map and can see some of the parks and cities I have visited.
I still need to do quite some updating, but here’s a first glance:

And, I've been meaning to ask, do you have to bathe the dogs after each of these walks?!

And nope, I do not have to bath them every time. Sometimes I hose them down though

The "thistles" are actually teasel (Dipsacus sp.), a similar-looking but actually quite different sort of plant.
The fruits look like wild plums, especially the bottom one.

@Sandy - thanks

I saw even more today

Our city here is just a small town, hard to guess, but less than 700 people There's only one bigger town "nearby", that's about 20km.
Our dogs are self-cleaning.
If they are very filthy they get hosed of in the garden. Pretty easy
