Got me a little job

Oasis Hotel beach

Well, 4 weeks into being here, I got me a small job.
A Photography job.

I could have had a job before.
I could have been a German “teacher". I checked it out.
Thanks, but not my kind of job.

This one will be at the beach. Taking pictures of tourists.
Mh.

People at Oasis Hotel beach

I have been there this morning. Surprise. And action.
It was supposed to be an Interview with me getting Infos.
Glad I brought my camera ;)
It went pretty well.
Currently there are mainly Italian and Russian tourists, but we have the occasional Austrians and Germans as well.
There’s a team of at least 4 Photographers and a few Videographers.

Oasis Hotel beach

I’ll check it out for a week and see how well it will go.
It at least will give me some experience and will help me get more comfy with “shooting” people.

Diving at Oasis Hotel beach

I gotta admit, I got a few shots I really liked. Most of the people shots I can’t post here, since it’s small kids or women in Bikinis, but I’ll show you a few of the ones I liked and which are not close-ups :)

Snorkeling at Oasis Hotel beach

The beach, btw. is very beautiful. It’s a Hotel “owned” beach.
The Hotel is called “Oasis".

Fish at Oasis Hotel beach

It has a beautiful diving and snorkeling reef. You can even see the fish without going under water.
Loved it :)!

@Typ0 - you are more than welcome to come.
A shame we only have one bedroom. But the Couch would be ok for a few days, I guess :)

@Thom - the water is indeed incredible :)
Makes me want to pick up diving and get an underwater case for my cam :)

@Dan - why did I expect something like that coming from you :>>

Sounds like a wonderful job! I can relate to how you feel shy about photographing people. I'm working on that too!

Congratulations Nicole! I hope it goes well - and yes, it will be great experience photographing people and seeing how to make them relaxed and get them looking their best. The water looks lovely!

Thanks everyone!

"Sad" news, I canceled the job.
It just doesn't do me any good to go there, since I neither speak Italian nor Russian and most tourists only speak those languages.
No English, no German.

So, I just leave the job to the Pros there and take a look at other venues.

Good thing here is that there are options at every corner :)

Nice pictures!
Congratulation for your job. I believe that a good photographer has different point of view from others to observe an object. He can shoot only special features of natures things. I think you are one of them. Thank you so much for sharing pictures and your experience.
