Got me a little job
Well, 4 weeks into being here, I got me a small job.
A Photography job.
I could have had a job before.
I could have been a German “teacher". I checked it out.
Thanks, but not my kind of job.
This one will be at the beach. Taking pictures of tourists.
Mh.
I have been there this morning. Surprise. And action.
It was supposed to be an Interview with me getting Infos.
Glad I brought my camera ![]()
It went pretty well.
Currently there are mainly Italian and Russian tourists, but we have the occasional Austrians and Germans as well.
There’s a team of at least 4 Photographers and a few Videographers.
I’ll check it out for a week and see how well it will go.
It at least will give me some experience and will help me get more comfy with “shooting” people.
I gotta admit, I got a few shots I really liked. Most of the people shots I can’t post here, since it’s small kids or women in Bikinis, but I’ll show you a few of the ones I liked and which are not close-ups
The beach, btw. is very beautiful. It’s a Hotel “owned” beach.
The Hotel is called “Oasis".
It has a beautiful diving and snorkeling reef. You can even see the fish without going under water.
Loved it
!

A shame we only have one bedroom. But the Couch would be ok for a few days, I guess

@Thom - the water is indeed incredible

Makes me want to pick up diving and get an underwater case for my cam

@Dan - why did I expect something like that coming from you

"Sad" news, I canceled the job.
It just doesn't do me any good to go there, since I neither speak Italian nor Russian and most tourists only speak those languages.
No English, no German.
So, I just leave the job to the Pros there and take a look at other venues.
Good thing here is that there are options at every corner
Congratulation for your job. I believe that a good photographer has different point of view from others to observe an object. He can shoot only special features of natures things. I think you are one of them. Thank you so much for sharing pictures and your experience.
