Down the memory lane

I just remembered one of my teachers in 1st to 4th Grade who always told us about Missereor and who started getting us in touch with some pen pals in Africa. Herr Zech.
“My” pen pal asked me after a few letters if I could please send him a bike. I think I quit contact after that.
The same teacher always picked up the Lunch time breads out of trash cans and gave us a long speech. I don’t think I ever threw mine away. Loved eating too much ;)

I also remembered that from 5th grade on I used the school books that the school provided instead of buying them every year.Money was tight. But some class mates tend to look at you awkward when you do. I never dressed in all those fancy clothes neither. Just not possible. Up to this day I hate throwing clothes away. I’m weird ;)

In 6th grade or 7th we had a wonderful arts teacher. He was a big tease too though. He saw me once on the market in our city with our Yorkie. From then on he always asked me how that Toilet brush of ours is doing ;)
I don’t remember his name,it started with a “B” though and he loved smoking a Pipe. He died a few years later :(

I’m not good at remembering things, but for whatever reason a few are coming back.

Digging deep

I usually don’t like the so called Meme(s), but this one struck a chord and ShoSho tagged me with it.
I was going to have it done beginning of the week, but you all know how busy I am :>>.

* Do your closest friends have any nicknames for you?
What friends? Just kidding. The only one I know of, is Nic, but I guess that’s not a real Nickname

* What is the greatest achievement of your life so far?
Finally settled with the Love of my Life and got married. (In other words having a relationship that lasts longer than two years… ;) )

*Where would you live if anywhere was possible?
The country doesn’t matter, but it would have to be close to a forest, mountains and ocean, preferably an old house with a big garden ;)
