I gotta turn the heating higher...
….wait a minute.
What heating?
Can someone tell me why these Morons here have no real heating System in their houses?
It’s not that 10 Celsius outside counts for cozy weather conditions.
And no, don’t tell me I shall go and buy me a heater and roll it around with me like an Oxygen tank.
No way.
I rather freeze.

Szia!
So you used to live in Hungary? What a small world, I am from there, and I used to live in Kuwait :o)
Anyway, most central ACs in Kuwait can be switched to heating. Just ask your hares (caretaker of your building).
Or get an electric heater. But you'll only need it for a few weeks.

The world is indeed small
I know, we have the AC on heating, but that thing's a joke.
Sometimes I DO get warm, but when I sit here too long it tends to get cold and I start moving around for a while (good to get some housework done
)
We might be here for only a few more weeks anyway and I'm used to cold from Hungary (bad Isolation and well, not the Best heaters either - and sometimes Rusia playing tricks on your, but you know all that
)
Thanks for stopping by and saying HI

Heat is something I cherish this time of year, although for January it's a relatively nice day here. (About -5 C)

Yikes, nope, not a temperature I want right now
Been there, done that, not this year

Could be worse this morning it was -21'C here, -31'C with the wind chill. Heck when it is 10'C here it is a t-shirt day.
This is truly a climate of extremes -40'C in the winter and +40'C in the summer.

If you're destined to be there but a few more weeks, where are you going next? Somewhere warmer?

By my US calculations, Wisconsin is -1˚ C or 30˚F. So 10˚ C sounds a little chilly. I'd have my heat on!
Finally got you on my blogroll, sorry it took awhile.

I never understood why people don't have both a/c and heat. My parents live in florida, and their home has no heating as well...too bad it was freezing all week!
hope it warms up a bit for you soon.

You need heating in 10 degree celsius weather?
What's wrong with you?

@Ben
LOL, but at least you are prepared for it.
You don't have Morons in Alaska, that build a house without a (decent) heating system
@Lou
We don't have a clear idea yet. It's always a short notice thing.
We might stay for another year, it all depends on a few things.
@Barbara
Don't sweat it
And yes, I would not mind having the heating on at some times.
But for right now I even have the balcony door open.
It's not cold and it rains
This place is weird.
It's supposed to get COLD though this weekend.
@Sandy
This system has a combination of AC and heat, but it isn't really worth a damn

It's raining in Qatar, too, and kind of cold. Well, cold-ish. People are tripping over their feet trying to get umbrellas
I guess they think that it's only cold 2 months out of 12 each year, so why bother installing heaters?

Yeah, well, maybe they just don't know any better or think it's good for the economy to buy electric heaters.
I mean, energy is still for free, so why bother....
It got cold over here and the next thick rainclouds are rolling in
