One thing that fascinated me on Failaka Island have been the camels roaming free.
Now I read in Wednesdays newspaper (Arab Times) that they are not natural there.
That they actually destroy the ecosystem (well, the one that tries to recover from the war).
It seems that they (whoever that is) are trying to get the government to either remove the camels from Failaka or keep them corralled.
Now, what about those Morons driving wherever they want in their Jeeps? Planning on doing something with / about them too?

Has anyone been to the Jaber Al-Ahmed Conservation area in Subbiya?
Regarding to the article, the desert has recovered a good part of it’s natural ecosystem.
