Just a normal day

We finally managed to get out of the house and that a brief walk in the “wild".

It seems they are going to make a better parking spot in front of the tiny “supermarket” and the pool area. And make a better road to the “new” Hotel.
Probably all “Euro - money".
They have renovated an old Hotel and holiday house complex here. There was a big sign at the front stating that the European Union had part in it.
They started two years ago and are close to being finished now.
They already (since last summer) have employees working there full time….

I’ll make a blog post one day to show you the before and after pics.

We met some Hungarians in the woods.
They had a little tractor with a cart, exactly like the one my grand Dad used to go in the woods with :)

Guess they were getting some firewood. Legal or illegal.

More signs of spring :)

And two birdie where we are not sure if they were swans or geese. I say geese. What do you think?

This one is my entry for the Scavenger hunt (if you haven’t checked it out yet, go for it. You can win some small prizes :) )

Looking at the swan in the last picture (nice shot!) I would say the ones above are of another kind.. The woods seem quite dense or thick, so I would hope that responsible pruning or dead wood removal would be permitted.

Just a guess, mind you, but it would appear to me that the necks are too long to be geese. Those look to be swans. Lovely photos, by the way, as always.

I'm not quite sure but I think these are swans. The necks are so long. I'm always astonished that they can fly.

It almost sounded like the start of a joke "we met some Hungarians in the woods"...lol

We're suppose to get some snow tonight, hopefully it won't keep me from getting some 120 film and sending 2 old rolls of 120 in for processing - but I think I'm gonna try my best on your scavenger hunt

I love the wood shots though, and the birds are cool - you'd think I'd have more, I live near a bird refuge of sorts...lol

I'll take your word for it, but the two in the air seem to be trailing long legs behind them, more like cranes or some other large wading bird...and I don't think swans wade...they paddle around and look pretty! : )
