Kuwait Marine Museum

by NicoleB Email

On the property of the Radisson SAS Hotel, right beside the big Al Hashemi II is the Kuwait Marine Museum.
I admit, I expected a little bit more, but it’s nice to visit nonetheless.
It has two small halls, filled with various boats in small versions and plates in front of them that describe what they are and what they were used for.

Most pictures turned out too dark & blurry though :(

I give you a little tour without many words:

They also have boats from other cultures ;)

Again, sorry for the quality, but better pictures from the big Al Hashemi II will follow in the next few days, promise :)

If you would like to have more information about traditional boats in the Gulf, check out this webpage !

Thanks everyone - if I ever get another camera while still here, I'll sure go back with a tripod and take some decent pictures ;)

You should go to all your museums at least once, Linus ;)

Ja, Dirk, da konnte man einfach so knipsen.
Es gibt nicht viele Plaetze, wo es verboten ist und oft kommt man mit jammern dann doch zum knipsen ;)
