very primitive or ancient looking, or is it more contemporary? It is like a fertility figure perhaps......

It reminded me of a fertility statue too, Dan
Noch aus einem Album von 2007, Kvelli
Danke
Thanks, Typ0
Ich bin beim Farbenspiel ausgestiegen, Ingrid.
Und wenn Du zur Lapidea willst, sieh zu, dass Du halbwegs den Weg kennst. Die Beschilderung ist kacke.

My reaction was the same as Dan's. It looks both ancient and modern. Very neat.

an awesome sculpture..in my country the most awesome sculptures use wood as a medium. wood doesn't last as long as a medium though

Cool statue! And I agree - it does have a primitive feel to it, which I love!

My best friend just told me that this statue resembles “Mother Africa” / “Mutter Afrika", Symposium 1997, made by Ogira Omburo Elijah (Nairobi/Kenia)
