They sure do like to paint their buildings in cheerful, Easter egg colours! :!:

I was scared to look at the photos when I read '. . . snap some Quickies. . .' but whew, they were all delightful! That looks like a beautiful area to have some time to play in!

Lajos Kossuth was once the leader of Hungary - lead the country in its war against Austria. Fled Hungary when Russia joined the war.(1849?) Imprisoned in turkey until 1851. Emigrated to the US and founded the town of New Buda in the state of Iowa. There is a county in Iowa, Kossuth County, in which New Buda lies.

You asked.

I was going to ask where Nagyatad was, but as Mr. Kossuth was Hungarian, I'm going to presume it is in Hungary. For more on Mr. Kossuth, here's his Wikipedia page link:

@Mrs SR - they indeed do - THIS is harmless :)

Grin, it is a neat place, Lisa - and no, no such Quickies on here B)

Thanks, Lou, I did indeed - and now I at least know :>> !

They sure have some - uh - interesting architecture, yes, Sandy :p

Bad when you are wearing heels, but yes, I love them too, Kontan :)

Thank you, Randall, I should have thought of that, but I guess blogging sometimes makes you lazy - you depend on your readers :)

Thanks, Rebecca, my favorite is the one with the horsies :)

Now that you mention it, Annie, yeah, that would fit well too :)
Maybe they should rename that street corner in "Bermuda triangle" :>>

Thanks, Mr. Bio :)
