Lovely collection of shots, Nicole. My favourites are the thistle and the haresfoot clover. I'm not keen on caterpillars but that is a wonderful shot!

Thank you all :)
I had lots of fun yesterday.
And I love being more and more able to add names to all the things I see (with help of my book and the Internet of course :>>)

@Ballerina girl & quickroute
I had a tiny P&S from Casio with 4MP 5 years ago and it made some pretty macros.
Maybe you just need to keep trying? :)

Hi Nicole love your treasure chest of photos. The butterfly looks like it may be a type of Buckeye I'll look and see what kind you have there, where exactly did you go (ie city and landscape type such as meadow or desert type area)

My faves are the caterpillar and the Hare's Foot clover. At first glance, I thought the caterpillars we a dropped piece of Marcasite jewelry!

Are you exploring new areas? Seems like we're seeing many new things! Not sure what the butterfly is but I love the hitchhiker grasshopper!

@Scriber - those, scary? Nope.
That huge spider that popped up in an even huger net in front of me - yupp, scary!

@quilly - at first look I thought they were bird poop ;)

@Lisa - yepp, different paths and parks.
Since the hunters are here in our area almost every day and I ran into some pigs the other, I thought it's better to explore some new venues.
Plus, I go and dump the dogs in the lakes more often :)
