Mayen, Germany

by NicoleB Email

A bit more from my hometown, because I can’t sleep and have nothing else to talk about ;)

The old part of town, small but pretty ;)
This is one of the old town gates, called Brueckentor

From the other side (sort of)
There’s a little river flowing by, called Nette

I love the details in the old structure (Fachwerk)
This is either the name of the guy that built it or the one of the owner, not sure.

Coat of arms of the town (Stadt Wappen in German)

An old chimney.
I love these old houses

(Sorry for the quality, I guess I was a bit hungover ;) )

Here is the deal Nicole, I'd like to buy the town. Turn it to a new country :P! I love the place! I love the old buildings. I wish we have something from old Kuwait still standing

Nope, not for sale ;)
But from time to time they have these for sale, but maintenance is a killer :)

And yes, I too wish there was some more Kuwait heritage left.
