Little friends

We have a lot of little friends running around here.
Outside and inside the house we have some lizards.
Usually small, but outside there are some bigger ones.
They come in various colours too.
I’ll try to get some shots as time goes on.

Two nights ago hubby saw the first Gecko in our place though.
He was tiny and the bathroom was dark.
This is the best I could manage ;)

Isn’t he cute?!

Is there any folklore surrounding the gecko showing up inside your home? For instance, is it good luck?

Yes, the gecko is very cute. It may have been a surprise at first, though, if the room was dark. ;-)

Nun ja, putzig schaut er schon aus. Ich denke aber, ich würde bei solch einer Begegnung erstmal das Weite suchen

He's adorable! Wouldn't it be funny if we had lizards in Toronto instead of squirrels...

It happens in Doha as well that we get lizards inside the home . They are tiny and transparent .
They are regarded as pest here .

I am sorry but I must disagree with you! ICKY! I would die of a heart attack there! I am terrified of reptiles. And will not share a bathroom with them. You are a brave, brave woman!
