Hopefully this little dog was OK. He looks pretty distressed. Reminds us that water is something to be respected and not taken lightly!

@Valkyrien - tell her that. Because when they are out in the water he always takes the sticks from her and "runs" her over

Looks like a puppy at a Spa - taking a mud bath.

This has to be my new favorite photo! So funny! Jojo and King, once again, they are masters of the domains of water, mud, and now, slime! Is there no god-awful thing this dynamic duo cannot conquer?

Oh, my! I do believe that dog will need a full bath to get all the green stuff out of its fur coat. My poor Daisy doesn't even like to get her paws wet in the grass.

I agree with the last comment - must have been a very long process to get the duckweed out of her fur! My Annie only wades, and Jake is very leery of water that does not stay in its dish.

Aw, I'm sure Jojo had it all under control, but how sweet is that to have a friend nearby just to make sure

@Dan - you should have been there. They had me in giggles again.
First King didn't manage to get in.
I tried to lift him in with my foot under his butt, but had nettles between me and his a**. They didn't harm him,but my foot was blistered (but that stuff is healthy, so no worries ).
But in the end he managed to get in and didn't wanna come out any more.

@srp - They were clean the next moment when they found clean water to jump in. They are pretty easy on that
And yeah, sometimes they do not want to get their paws dirty either and push me over to step in the mud.
Next moment they are down rolling in it.sigh

I really think my dogs came with a self cleaning mechanism

@Sandy - I think King was actually only checking if she brought a stick back that he can snatch from her again
