The other day in the Arab Times:
Two girls get stopped by the police for wearing indecent clothes. When getting to the car the policemen also discover a bunch of Booze bottles.
Yet another day:
4 cars crash because of a girl chase: A Ferrari, a Porsche, a Hummer and one I forgot.
And in yesterdays paper:
The three Americans that got arrested for growing, selling and using drugs are out for a bail.
Lucky and not expected from my side. Must have some good friends somewhere.
They yet have to post the news into the online version, I guess.

I was just remembering the last time I was in Kuwait city. It was in 1991 and let me tell you wearing indecent clothes, and drugs were the last thing on the police officers minds.
If you have a bunch of photos of what Kuwait City looks like now stashed somewhere I would like to see them. It would be interesting to see how they have rebuilt.

I didn't know you have been here.
Yeah, I can imagine that during those times, the worries of the police have been different ones.
But at least the alcohol and drugs are a major thing now.
You read about drug ring busts and alcohol distilleries almost every day.
Last week they even caught a guy from the royal family together with a highly wanted drug dealer...oups
I don't have a bunch of photos, but I still have some I haven't posted yet that I took from the Kuwait towers and some from my various taxi rides and strolls

Ugh, sowas ist typisch Mann. Wobei, alleine wenn mich SOLCHE Autos jagen würden, wäre ich schon total beeindruckt *g* Und bei denen ist das wahrscheinlich Alltag, puh...
