No camera from Photoworld

Even if I would live in the US I would not buy from them.
I send them an inquiry email yesterday, before I got all the helpful answers from you.
My phrasing was maybe not the greatest, but their response lacks of close to everything….
My email:
Hello,
I am interested in the NikonD300, but delivery would be to an APO
address in Kuwait.
Now, electronics shipped to APO addresses sometimes don’t get delivered.
What happens when you send it but I don’t receive it?
This might be an odd question, but I hope you can help.

My next question would have been, if you send to an address in Kuwait directly.
But I don’t think that even if I was living in the US I would consider buying from you at all after this reply.

You will probably get similar response from Amazon or other dealers in electronic items in U.S.
They do not want to deal with non-US customers.
The only reputable company that ships direclty to Kuwait is

I used to buy camera/electronic stuff from them before I switched to Amazon because of cheaper shipping options through Aramex shop&ship.
With bhphotovideo, you can choose your shipping options (dhl being the most expensive and UPS being reasonably priced). Since both privide on-line tracking data, you can monitor your shipment.
Try them out.

The customs (if shipped via Aramex Shop& Ship, or their competitor www.ushopweship.com) is a hit and miss. Sometimes they charge customs (it 5% of invoice value) and MOST times, they just ignore it.
I have been shipping stuff through ushopweship.com, and so far have not paid customs for a single item (including the D200). But I do know some people who got charged customs duty.
I rechecked D300 on bhphotovideo.com. Nikon has placed restrictions on shipping the item out of U.S.
So unless you are willing to go the Aramex shop&ship route, I am afraid the retailers in US are not going to legally ship D300 outside US at this stage.
I'm not sure how I will do it.
Got a reply from BHP and they said they would ship either APO or Kuwait.
So, that's an option.
Aramex and that just sounds a bit weird to me. I know that I will be the one where something goes wrong
I will still think about how to do this.
