Wow, big day. I HATE when people tell me no pictures. I'd be exhausted after all that walking...

Well, Jonathan, get on your broomstick or call Scotty ;)

The day was actually not that long. I was home at 2 something.
And *yawns* - now, at 7.30 p.m. it's almost over :)

What's with all the "no pictures" rules? That doesn't make sense to me.

I am very similar, always building things up in my mind only to be let down. At least you did get a pic of the towers - impressive from my point of view!

Lou, I have NO idea at the Island.
The museum - maybe to protect the patterns from being copied in China and sold cheap???

Chika, I know,I could have done that. I was just totally irritated and didn't get it. I might go back another day, just to see what's on there :)

And well, food rarely ever looks good on my snaps :D
But the soup was delicious. A different taste than I'm used to. Hubby would have guessed Curry, but I learned that it's Kurkuma (however you spell it) and another spice that make it look yellow.

I love that shop / restaurant that's a little bit more in the inside area too. With old pictures and stuff.

Thanks, Mrs WiddleShamrock, I had a great time once again :)

To me neither, Mrs SR - it sucks >:XX

Grin, Michelle, I actually know not to expect much and usually don't do so and so I can still enjoy whatever is there.

Green Island though was a tad different. I was expecting something with a long wooden walkway across the ocean (I was told it's at least a mile long, haha) and a lush green island with many flowers.

Well, that just wasn't so ;)

I remember a tour to Failaka Island, everyone expected more, but one of the Ladies with us kept nagging and nagging instead of enjoying the tour the way it was.
It would have been annoying, but I managed to laugh about it. We still laugh about it (without her - she left for another place ;) )
