We had to hop to Bahrain for my Visa renewal.
Every three months it makes for a nice, short time out.
This time we decided to do only a day trip.
Cheaper, a lot cheaper and still good enough to get out and get some action.
I was a bit concerned about the dogs, but then again, it was only for 12 hours and when we fly somewhere they are in the Kennel for at least that amount of time.
(Turned out they were fine indeed, no problem)

We got up at around 4 a.m. and left the house at 5.30.
Well, we wanted to, but the Taxi I ordered sure enough wasn’t there yet.
Two phone calls later (I don’t give them the 5 minutes waiting time no more, no point), which he pushed away, he called me back “Sorry Mam, will be there in 7 minutes”
Seven? Alright….
It was more like 15, but he was there and we arrived at the airport just in time.
I’m glad, we weren’t there earlier, because it was freezing in the Check In Hall. And I literally mean freezing. I could see my breath.
Did I mention I don’t have no boots, I was wearing Sandals. Cold!

But I got to see a beautiful sunrise

But at least on the airplane it was nice and cozy. And for the first time we did not have a Mr. HashHash called out and we left right on time.
The plane was packed, but that was to be expected on a weekend.
