Circle of Life 2 / 365

Today I tried to play with the camera.
Tried to work with f stop, aperture and different angles.

The above is my pic of the day.

I love how it shows a circle.
A new blossom and the end of a blossom with seeds for new Life in the next season.

nature in Hungary nature in Hungary nature in Hungary

And these are the ones I discarded. I like them, but I think the above suits my purpose Best and is technically the Best.
I like these too, but they are not as good as I wanted them to be.

This is lovely! I do the same kind of experiments you do. I just never think to post the series, only the success!

Hi Nicole, I love it! I'm looking forward to seeing your '365 Project' progressing. I've been going through lots of photos I took a year ago and there's a huge difference. I expect we'll both see changes in our work in 365 days time. I love working with different size apertures for the depth of field effects too. I just left a response to your last comment re my 'light' photography along with a recommendation for books by Bryan Peterson. If you're interested let me know and I'll let you have specific titles. I've found him so inspiring and accessible. Would appreciate any thoughts you have re the rest of my 'light' problems! This is the second time I've tried to leave this comment. The first time my computer crashed, and now I return to find you've gone all black. Perhaps the two things are connected. Love the new look though!

@Thom - thanks :)

@Dan - nah, the circle is perfect. Just imagine a hot summer all year long...yuck ;)

@quilly - I only posted the series since I liked them too :D

@Janice - nope, the template is the same from the moment I started this blog.
(This is a new one, but with the b2 evolution system you can combine all of them if you want and run them on the same Site).
Sorry you had trouble.
I think the updated system isn't as stable yet as they thought. Oh well :)

I would highly appreciate the titles of the books.

I hope that we will have an APO address in Egypt, since I sort of doubt any mail will reach me in the apartment complex (that is not better than Kuwait, as far as I've learned).

Regarding light and such....since I am such a lazy bum I really work with trial and error. I DO need to get my nose in b0ooks and work with them.
One reason for this blog is to do exactly that. Get one chapter, work with it and post the results, I just need to get started ;)

Maybe, it would be interesting for you too to do a little 365 project?
:)

Thanks, Jientje and Lisa :)

Ich mag solche Nahaufnahmen auch zu gerne. Leider klappt das nicht immer...

The commenting template is different. It is all black when I post a comment. Not that anything is wrong with that. Just wanted to confirm what Janice said.

I loved number 1 photo but I also loved photo 2. I like the fact that it has very few colors and some circles. Amazing shot! Very minimalistic and almost looks like a painting. Lots of shapes. I think while I am writing this, I feel that I like photo 2 more. Amazing shot.

Yepp, Scriber, like I said above:
It's a different blog,..., snicker,....
I have just diverted the blog posts, so they show up on the main blog as well.
Confusion perfect? Good :>>

Nr. 2 was running a close race, yepp :)

Thanks, glad you like Nr. 2 too :>>

The picture is looking clean and sharp but i don't able to see the background of the flower picture and the circle is too large.
