Prayer call
OK, here comes.
We talked about prayer calls in the Middle East this morning.
This is one I like.
(Sorry for the quality. Two dogs on a leash pulling in various directions didn’t make it any better nor easier
)
They are quite a bit longer, I’ll try to find one and hopefully my wonderful, but very wonky Internet connection lets me upload it one of these days ![]()
It’s probably not appropriate to say I like or dislike a prayer call.
But the ones here in Kuwait are Life.
And some are good and some are, uhm, not so good.
Just my two cents

Sorry for all the questions, but I like to find out what goes on in other parts of the world.
They do it, I think, 5 times a day.
A longer one to call the people to the mosque and one at the beginning of the prayer (shorter) about half an hour later.
The times for prayers are posted every day in the paper too, but the tradition is that the believers are called by the muezzin.
I don't get the where they come from question, sorry, only 5 a.m. here
The calls are like church bells, *wake up, come pray*

Keep them questions coming. Fine with me

Most times I like it too, Sparkling Red
At least as long as our bedroom window doesn't face the mosque head on, because they are pretty loud
(or tears)
!And now I can add a new tag and a new word to my Vocabulary - cool
