Small sewers in Sharm el Sheikh

The small sewers are usually a great place to watch all kinds of birds.
Small and big.

Today I was not very lucky, or so I thought.

I got lots of white or pied wagtails, lots of noisy Spur winged Plovers, a few storks, lots of Black coot with almost grown up Juveniles (I guess), some yet to be identified ducks, some sort of swallow (ID will follow) and some more small birdies AND my very first Eastern Imperial Eagle :>>.

There were still a few dead storks left laying around too, but all dried up. I figure they are leftovers from the migration.

Sadly I found a huge pile of trash dumped nearby as well (Photo also later).
Humans never learn, do they?

I would have never guessed that was a sewer. It seems so calm and tranquil.

So, you're hanging out at sewers now, huh? And how do they smell?

And yes, I sometimes hang out there. Best place to get the big raptors :>>

They are, Doug :)

That's a beautiful shot. I love the contrast between the land and sky/water. The reflection is great too.
