Rainmountain, wonderful photos! At this time of year, there are also tiny tiny iris that bloom. They are almost invisible until around noon, and they they all open up. They are short lived, and people tell me they bloom near the Iraqi border, but I think a lot of that area still has unexploded ordnance leftover from the invasion. :(

I would love to see the real desert :(
There are even dunes somewhere here in Kuwait, sigh.

This desert is in front of our house, so,......
but someone told me that the same flowers are existent in the desert ;)

It's sad that the desert still has explosives.
You should think that this country really has enough money to clear that mess up :(!

The mental image here in the States, of Kuwait, is one of sand dunes and Mercedes. Had no idea, really, there would be so much in bloom.

max spring fever is hitting hard around here - even though we're still sitting under some snow and it's still below freezing at night (like 10 degrees or more)...it's been in the 40's during the day and everyone's out like it's summer...

now if the flowers would bloom and the sun would shine it'd be great...

I love the shots

Nicole - I didn't expect to see flowers in the desert. I don't think I'd like to catch those bugs though - yuk.

I can't wait for the flowers to start blooming around here!

Is it the same there, like in Arizona, where after a rain in the desert all the flowers suddenly pop up?

Ok I delted them all (the \\\\), now watch my next comment.
