They came today

After not coming, like promised, on Thursday and me stepping on Mr. Accountants feet yesterday, THEY showed up today.
Unannounced. What else.
I mean, come on, women over here don’t do nothing and doing a tour for nothing, if someone really isn’t there is good, no? Less work *shrug* who cares (they say).

Anyhow, after telling Mr. accountant yesterday to give me an advance notice, I actually didn’t want to open the door. My house was a major disaster area, I was in the middle of laundry and not in the mood for more mess thanks to their “cleaning".

After Mr. Boss Harris called me though, I opened the door and let them in.
The same two guys like last week, with a ladder and a Backpack and a piece of Paper Towels.
Yes.
Paper Towels.
No machine.

First of I asked, where the machine is.
No machine.
One of them was holding the ladder, the other one started wiping the AC thing.
I’m like “THAT’s gonna be IT?!”
“Yes”

I’m like “And you think, that’s gonna do any good? And why the heck could you NOT do that last week?!” |-|

I just left them there, they discussed for a while and I went back in and told them to just keep working, so they might be out of my eyesight soon.

Mr. Boss Harris saved the day, by letting them take of those things and cleaning them, once again in my bathroom, with my sponge and soap.
But hey, at least he did clean them.

Maybe I’m just a bitch, but the way people work over here and get away with it amazes me ever and ever again.

(This is what those things looked like, actually it was much worse than it looks here)

Is this a different world, or what? Of course, I have my share of service people being bonkers, too. Guess part of the crazy human species gets those genes.

Grin, I think you have them everywhere.
Over here though, most people don't know anything about Customer Service ;)
Might as well be a new dish at McDonalds ;)

Oh they know about Customer Service. It's just that you aren't the right kind of customer. You're not rich and you're not a man.

On the contrary.
They think I'm American and have all the money in the world, which lets some of them transform into something that you could call customer service oriented.

But the thing we call customer service is very rare here.
No matter where or what you are.

I wouldn't want those guys in my home either. They sound pretty useless.

They are, SR.
But if you insist long enough and don't budge you get somewhere.
It just costs a lot of nerves ;)
