Naaaa! I'm almost the same weight as you right now! I didn't check my weight since december!
But I lost a lot of weight since I got here.
Just keep walking, don't eat or drink things with lots of suger and you'll be fine!
Nowadays a lot of our foods have suger! Thats why we are getting fatter :>>

I don't eat or drink much sugar stuff.

But I love Carbs - they are my major downfall. A Life with not much Pasta, Rice and Potatoes? Sigh ;)

But I will manage to get it on a healthier balance. One of these days ;)
It's simply not good to eat the same portion as your husband does ;)

Portion control is the key for me. I too eat the same amount as my husband :(

I was a long distance runner in my younger days and I find it extremely frustrating to keep up a healthy lifestyle in Kuwait. Either it's dusty, or too hot or too cold.

But 81 Kgs? oh oh....

That and Cajie's excuse was always what I said.

Too much going on, too much traveling, I got my Period and am cramping, my back hurts, it's too hut or / and too dusty.

Thanks, Ahmed, Public Gyms are not my piece of pie though.
We actually have everything here in the Complex. I can go swimming and we have some (cheap) machines for running and such stuff as well...... if I weren't so lazy and that place not so ugly...... ;)

As you just said - most gyms are so ugly! And I hate sharing equipment and waiting my turn. I hate being watched.

I do what I can within my home and I walk every day. Lucky me, I have a fast metabolism, so it's good enough.

I dunno but I will go check it out. :) I joined a google group called Cyber Fat Camp and one of the things we're prepping to start is using a pedometer. I also crunch for comments and we're going to a gym. So I should start seeing morethan my 3 lb loss soon. *fingers crossed*

Anyway, I will check it out as I wouldn't mind a "partner in crime" :)

Seems like a great idea. I did the gym thing for a while, but never stick with with. I do better with my recumbent bike & treadmill and dvds. Good luck!
