Touchdown

It was as dusty and hazy when we landed, but got better the closer we got to the Hotel ;)

We are in Dubai since this morning.
Someone could have told me that they are in a different time zone ;)
Dubai is one hour ahead of Kuwait. Didn’t know that.

So far it looks cleaner and more organized than Kuwait. Constructions everywhere but without the trash that we experience in Kuwait.

We spent most of the day at the Pool and chilled.
Tonight we will go out for dinner somewhere.
Hubby graves a good Steak or Mexican.
It’s his birthday, so I hope we find something.

Tomoroow we might go for a desert tour, depending on the feedback of the agents.
And maybe I get to see one of the old souqs.

You all have fun out there and stay safe :)

Wow, great shots. I love the plane wing, it gives perspective to the photo, much better than just looking straight at the ground. And that pool shots is very original too - sometimes the key in photography is to capture an everyday thing in a different way. Not that sitting beside a pool is everyday for me...... :)

Hey Nicole! I've been away for quite some time but found the way back to your blog again, heheh. Here's my new link! Have a great time in Dubai, and happy birthday to the hubs. The picture by the pool looks sooo tempting!

Happy birthday Hubbie.

Love the photos.

I have woken to rain so the poolside shot has me a little envious.

Cool! My cousin is about an hour away from you in Abu Dhabi. They go to Dubai all the time. It sounds like an exciting place, so much to do!

Thanks everyone!
Yes, it's a great Pool :) And the temperatures are still great.
More leg? Mh, maybe ;)

Abu Dhabi sounds great too, but it's an hour drive from here.
So much one could do,...

Glad to see you back, Kala!!
Missed you!

Wings,..., well, I didn't have much of a choice for the picture, but thanks, David :)
I don't know why lucky me always ends up sitting where the wings are...
