by NicoleB Email

I think, it’s time to play a game.

A challenge for all of you out there :)

Everyone.

All first timers, Lurkers and whatnot.

I need you to show me the world.

Post a picture of your country / State.
The one you were born, the one you live in, whatever pleases you.
Show it off :D.

I will post (unless you don’t want me to, please state that in your comment) a thumbnail of your picture here with a link to your post.

Lets roll :)

(I will bump this post back to the top of the blog from time to time, so more people can join the fun ;)

Sharia law in the UK

by NicoleB Email

What kind of drugs do they use over there?

The Anglican Archbishop of Canterbury is backing the option of Sharia law (here’s a download link for the law) in the UK. Dr Rowan Williams is stating that

the adoption of some Sharia law in the UK seemed “unavoidable

and

the UK had to “face up to the fact” some citizens did not relate to the British legal system.

He said adopting parts of Islamic Sharia law could help social cohesion. For example, Muslims could choose to have marital disputes or financial matters dealt with in a Sharia court.

He further stated that

Muslims should not have to choose between “the stark alternatives of cultural loyalty or state loyalty

I do not have to understand this, do I?!

I mean only because drinking alcohol is allowed in Germany doesn’t mean that I can drink over here, no?
Or having Sex when not married.
Or, or,…..
Is the law gonna change for all people all over the world so that they have to just go with the law that counts in their home country,…., aeh, religion?

I’m not sure what they are getting at over there, but I can only shake my head.

I have often heard the phrase: If you don’t like it in this country (not only Kuwait) - LEAVE and go back wherever you came from.

No offense, guys and girls, but if you can’t live with the country’s law, then there is all but one choice.

Go figure.

or listen to what he has to say
