Watching the demolition
Or so at least it was planned.
About two weeks ago they emptied a house at the other side of the road and a few days ago everyone thought they would tear it down.
I guess that was their plan, but it didn’t work out.
The machine they tried it with was too small. Good enough to take chunks out of the walls, but when it came to tearing down a part of the house, it didn’t work.
It looked like a suicide mission anyway the way they did it.
But, hey, we are in Kuwait. What does it matter that just two weeks before one guy got killed trying to do the same as this guy did.
Pictures of the attempted destruction will follow another day - it’s fun (btw. part of the house is still standing - this is an entry from the 10th of January 
)
Watching
Watching as well, but not too happy
Trying to fix the broken machine (which they did with a wire that they broke out of a piece of concrete from the house…..)

No, actually it wasn't weird at all. From time to time I shoot a queer look when one of them wears the Dishdasha and a suitjacket or when I see the Indians running around with all kinds of various forms of clothing, but no, not really.
It was more the women that remind me of nuns though, but you get used to that too.
