Got a surprise gift!

by NicoleB Email

For the wedding pictures I took about 3 weeks ago.
And what a neat surprise that was!
A whole bag full of Hungarian goodies. Thanks a million!

2 bottles of darn good wine & one bottle of homemade Palinka with one of the wedding pictures on the fron saying “Thank You” in Hungarian.
Dried Paprika & Paprika paste - so yummie!

The pictures don’t do the presents justice, but I couldn’t do much better this morning ;)

Thanks a million again, Babi & Peti!

Saturday wedding

I guess it went quite well.
No major catastrophes, the weather stayed dry, but not sunny.

I’ve learned a few things.I should have shot with flash inside,no matter what. I didn’t wanna disturb the quiet ceremony even more than I already did with my noisy little camera. Next time I will.
Pictures are ok though. My arms got a bit tired after a while,so some shots turned out out of focus. But I got the main shots. Signature, rings and kiss. For the rings I have been on the wrong spot.
One more thing I learned. Check the location with the people ahead of time, check the schedule with them so you don’t run into surprises and have to rush and ruin a shot - yupp….
The language barrier didn’t help here though. Oh well.
I sure had sore legs the next day and spent altogether 15 hours editing. Had the CD ready Monday. Screwed up and burned small files though - dooh. Will deliver the CD with the big files tomorrow.
Anyhow, I know now why professionals charge you what they charge you :)

Here’s my shot for the 365 project. One not shot by me, but by the groom.

Here’s one of my favorite shots:
