What a wonderful day

I think I am truly blessed to have the time I do here in Hungary.
Even though I am sometimes lonely and I sorely miss hubby.
But I sure should and most of the time do enjoy every minute here.

The weather is getting hot, but nothing compared to Kuwait.
The sun shines most of the time, unlike in Germany.
I get rain, unlike Kuwait.

So. Who am I to complain?
I just wish hubby was here so I could share it with him.
Oh well.

Until that day again, I have to enjoy it all alone.

Not all alone. No.
I have my camera and can show you a bit of paradise ;)

Enjoy.

The place where I love to sit and watch the birdies, listen to the fish jumping, cows mooing and buzzards hunting.
And dogs splashing in the water ;)

Great shots. The dogs look like they are having so much fun in the water.

PS - I meant to thank you for telling me how to differentiate between the damselfly and dragonfly by the size of their body. I'll have to remember that.

How come your hubby isn't with you? Are you on a project or something for work?

Love the photos. The ones of the dogs are awesome. They all are as a matter of fact. Great picture of you..who took it? Nothing like having a million and one questions LOL

I am so glad you're in a place you enjoy - and so sad you're in a place you enjoy, alone.

Thanks, Carver and you are most welcome :)

Thanks, Thom :)
Hubby is the one out for work. I am at home here in Hungary.
He reached Kuwait today and enjoys some dusty weather ;)
I usually would be with him, but we'll wait a few thing out.

The pic of me is taken by me, thanks :)

Thanks, Lou.

Ich bewundere dich, wie positiv du das alles siehst und wie du das Alleinsein bewältigst. Lebenskunst ist das. Und ich hoffe, ihr seid bald wieder zusammen.

Oh Nicole you've brought tears to my eyes! And I feel like I'm there with you and the dogs and nature, seeing these lovely 'mosaics'. Hope he's coming back soon. Big hugs!
Janice. xx
Would it help if I sang to you in German? I know the first verse of Stille Nacht....

They say that absence makes the heart grow fonder. Before long he'll be back! : ) Meanwhile, yes, you have a lovely landscape to explore and two very faithful friends in King and JoJo. Best wishes.

Danke, Ingrid.

Thanks, quilly. It will be a while.

Sorry, Janice, that was not the plan. It's good to have so many friends here with me. It sure makes me feel better :)
Stille Nacht....uhm it's worth a try ;)

Thanks, Dan. It will be another month or two before I maybe hop over for a quick visit, unless something good happens until then.
Not really that fast, but I'll live.

I wish I could listen to some cows mooing. :-)

I am reminded of a friend of mine who is now in England studying, far from her fiance. She misses him so much. It's hard to be separated from those we love.

Hi Nicole. I am sorry for being so late in visiting. My mother's hospitalization is taking a lot of time and energy. I wish I could come on over and just sit with you as it looks like what I need. Peace and quiet. Of course it would be nicer to have hubby with you. I wish him a safe journey and you some more lovely days to sit and enjoy with your dog...Michelle
