Green island

A nice small artificial ‘island’ at the coast of Kuwait, connected to the main land with a bridge. It’s situated between the city center (Kuwait Towers) and Salmiya.

Entrance fee for the island is 0,5 KD. You can rent a bike to get around or walk.

There’s easy taxi access at the Gulf road. You can also take a walk along the shore line for more coastal birds.

Special Bird to be seen on the island: Red-vented Bulbul (has eluded me in Kuwait so far).
